The soft touch

Today's product spotlight is a Mary Kay best seller: The Satin Hands Pampering Set (unscented and peach scented)

My favorite part of a skin care class is demonstrating the Satin Hands Pampering Set, just because I know that afterwards people just can't get over how soft their hands are and they always say, "My hands have never been this soft before!"

Three steps make up the Satin Hands Pampering "session":
  • Step 1: The Hand Softener (the skinniest, tallest tube). Make sure you hands are damp and just apply a small, almost dime-size amount to your hand.
    • This step just seals in moisture and offers immediate hydration.
    • The softener is unscented in both sets, and it includes a heavy duty emollient known to help maintain moisture. So it keep hands soft and smooooth!
  • Step 2: The Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub (the one in the soap bottle). You just apply one or two pumps of this with the Hand Softener still on your hands and have fun scrubbing those dead skin cells away! Haha.
    • The Peach scented Smoothie Scrub contains Peach and Apricot seed powder to exfoliate the dead surface cells.
  • Step 3: Satin Hands Hand Cream (the final step!). After you rinse and dry your hands, you apply the Hand Cream to seal in the moisture and provide a protective layer that lasts through several washings.
    • The Hand Cream provides up to 24 hours of moisturization and it absorbs quickly.
On average, this whole set will last about 2.5 months if used once a day. You won't really need to use it more than that unless you have really dry hands.

Each set is retailed at $34, and the lotion can be purchased separately for $10. I know I use the lotion more often than the rest, so it helps being able to get that by itself!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!
